Redada

Raw contents are often readily available, but in the age of Big Data the key to sensemaking and added value lies in analysis, which enables effective interpretation.

REDADA combines advanced techniques of text mining and graph analysis with interactive tools and visual analytics to navigate and enrich information gathered from a variety of unstructured document sources. The main goal is to provide insight and sense to serve as decision support, by synthesizing relevant information out of large sets of data. The user enjoys an enabling platform that provides searches and analsyis crucial to business. The REDADA demo is applied to newspaper articles fetched up until 2010, and is tailored to the highlight of criminal events.

REDADA was developed also thanks to co-funding from the European Union, in relation to projects IST-27097 and JLS/2007/ISEC/431.
